About The Position

The Supervisor - Coordinated Assessment Program will manage the Coordinated Assessment Program (CAP) that serves as an agent for social change in the contracted region, along with focusing on developing partnerships with area schools and generating school-based referrals. In addition, the Supervisor will manage the Iowa Aftercare Program that provides support to youth and young adults, ages 17–23, with independent living, and those who have aged out of foster care or other court-ordered placements. The Supervisor will have some level of involvement and supervision in the following areas: governance, leadership, community relations, program management, goals and metrics, financial management, grant writing, and personnel management. They are responsible for the program’s goals and measures and will work collectively across the agency to meet outcomes. This position must be available and capable of participating in the 24-hour on-call rotation for the Supervisor on-call rotation. This position requires reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Director - Community Violence Intervention. This position requires a flexible schedule that may include working nights, weekends, and holidays. As a member of Family Resources, you will have an EOS leader who: Gives clear directions. Requirements

  • Open Education Required
  • Open Experience Required
  • Demonstrates a current working knowledge in the field of mental health crisis services
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing and a vehicle with appropriate auto insurance are required
  • Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check
  • Must be available and capable of participating in the 24-hour on-call rotation for the Supervisor on-call rotation
  • This position requires reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • one year of experience in the field of mental health; or any equivalent combination of training and experience
