About The Position

The Supervisor in Clinton, IA is responsible for leading a work group in the production area, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves managing shift operations, assisting employees, and coordinating resources with other supervisors and management to meet plant priorities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, terminology, equipment, and tools used in maintenance and repair of manufacturing structures and systems.
• Previous work experience managing people and maintenance activities.
• Completion of ADM safety orientation and ongoing OSHA required plant safety training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a work group of employees in the production area.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Assist employees with their tasks and provide support when needed.
• Manage shift operations and troubleshoot process and mechanical problems.
• Conduct department audits and employee safety audits.
• Facilitate daily toolbox safety meetings.
• Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Department Superintendent.
• Order supplies as needed.
