The position is for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) at Advocate Health in the Internal Medicine department located in Chicago. The role involves providing quality clinical care, supporting healthcare teams, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. The RN will be responsible for managing patient registries, conducting audits, and overseeing research activities. The position requires flexibility in working hours, as clinic hours are from 7 am to 7 pm, seven days a week, and occasional weekend work is expected. The RN will also be involved in patient satisfaction initiatives, associate engagement, and practice growth.

  • Provides support in the delivery of quality clinical care.
  • Works closely with healthcare team and physician to assure triage, telephone assessments, home therapies and patient visits are consistent with established guidelines.
  • Takes a lead role in assisting the clinical team to meet/exceed CI goals.
  • Assists physicians and associates in managing patient registries.
  • Ensures monthly office inspection checklist and other required audits are conducted in a timely manner.
  • Ensures AMG standing operating procedures are followed.
  • Oversees approved site research activities.
  • Demonstrates independent problem solving and critical decision making.
  • Holds clinical staff accountable to AMG rooming standards.
  • Ensures timely management of EMR tasks, overdue orders, test result follow-up and other patient follow-up.
  • Demonstrates appropriate action in emergency situations.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and resolves potential safety problems.
  • Collaborates with the manager/director and physician leadership to maintain a patient-centered environment.
  • Monitors data on a monthly basis and develops improvement plans.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings and daily huddles with associates.
  • Provides ongoing performance feedback to associates through coaching and mentoring.
  • Supports initiatives that enhance practice growth.
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of an operationally efficient work environment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Experience in clinical care and health outcomes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in managing patient care and safety standards.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems.
  • Knowledge of patient satisfaction metrics and improvement strategies.
