About The Position

The Clinical Services role at White Deer Run in Lebanon, PA, plays a vital part in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field required.
  • Three or more years' clinical experience in a health or human service agency.
  • One or more years' working directly with the facility patient population required.
  • Certification/Licensure as required by state.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary and ancillary support staff in the provision of mental health services to patients.
  • Provide daily administrative oversight to the team, with technical supervision of licensed clinical staff exercised in accordance with scope-of-practice guidelines.
  • Provide care coordination as needed to patients to ensure the coordination of care and to facilitate access to needed services.
  • Review case records for completeness, consistency, and quality of services provided including application of proper techniques; ensures compliance with state and federal mandates.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing mandatory and discretionary programs in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations by determining type and level of services to be provided; measure of quality-assurance to be employed; and formulating and carrying out policies and procedures.
  • Review and assess client treatment plans, including short- and long-term goals.
  • Review clinical records to evaluate the necessary level of patient care.
  • Complete required paperwork including intake forms, progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries
  • Document and maintain client contacts, care coordination, crisis/consult contacts, and community contacts according to ethical standards and organizational protocols.
  • Conduct treatment plan review as required.
  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.
  • When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
  • Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
