About The Position

The Supervisor, Clinical Operations works closely with leadership to facilitate the delivery of outstanding service and clinical excellence to Teladoc Health members. The Supervisor provides day-to-day support and leadership ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of Teladoc virtual care services. This role requires exercising considerable clinical judgment in applying professional knowledge to resolve service issues within established policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current, active credentials in good standing as a Registered Nurse, with unencumbered ability to be licensed in all 50 states.
  • 5+ years of health care experience.
  • Outstanding team player & strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional delegation skills.
  • Skilled in organizing and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency using technology and software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory or other people leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience working in Virtual Care.
  • Remote work setting experience preferred.
  • Bilingual-Spanish speaking a plus.
  • Multi State Compact RN licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the operations of the Primary 360 Nurse Team by onboarding, leading, motivating, and developing a support team of Registered Nurses.
  • Maintain adequate staffing to meet departmental turnaround time and quality goals through schedule and task list management.
  • Develop and implement ongoing training activities to ensure staff are fully supported to deliver service excellence within each professional scope of practice.
  • Conduct quality audits and provide employees with direct, positive, and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure outstanding service delivery, quality, and timeframes by overseeing the daily operations of clinical staff.
  • Provide clinical expertise and assure successful delivery of department KPI's.
  • Ensure superior member experience which may include communicating directly with members via written, telephone, or video communication.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to the P360 Nurse team and other internal partners.
  • Lead effective change management for operational processes and update staff accordingly.
  • Identify, recommend, and execute process and clinical workflow improvement opportunities.
  • Assist staff with challenges and problem solving in real time, acting as point of escalation for members and inter-departmental issues.
  • Monitor and report daily case volumes and Service Levels to department leadership.
  • Represent Teladoc Health professionally in communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Approve staff timecards and manage requests for paid time off.
  • Support corporate initiatives and special projects as needed.
