About The Position

Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities Receives and processes supply and special-order request forms, replenishes specialty carts & kits, physicians’ trays, and special packs, performs par level supply stocking for specific departments using inventory work sheets. Occasionally cleans and reprocesses various medical equipment. Records important documentation in appropriate log books and sheets. Enters department and patient charges into computer system. Distribution of supplies and equipment as needed. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Supports the Material Services and Hospital mission. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Performs other duties as assigned. The Supervisor Central Services also assists in managing workflow, assigning tasks to others, monitoring workload, maintaining productivity records, writing evaluations and supervising staff. Qualifications Education and Experience High school graduate or equivalent. Previous Central Services experience preferred

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid California driver’s license for those who are authorized to operate Hoag vehicles
