No matter where you're located—on campus or online—you are part of a mission that transforms lives and makes a difference across the state of Texas and beyond The Supervisor of the Campus Events Box Office leads all ticketing functions for events held on campus, with the exception of Tarleton State Athletic Events. This position plays a pivotal role in maximizing ticket revenue, enhancing the overall fan experience, and fostering strong relationships with event patrons and other key stakeholders. The position is responsible for all aspects of ticketing events and oversees the event day ticket office operations. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or as work requirements indicate; This position may require work beyond normal business hours, weekends, and holidays; This is an on-site position located in Stephenville, Texas. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA ).

Requirements

  • High School or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years related experience; including two years of related supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the campus events box office and the university’s ticketing software provider.
  • Builds and maintains event infrastructure within ticketing software for all ticketed events within the event center and other designated facilities and events across campus.
  • When appropriate, drives new business through the sale of ticket packages, including season tickets, group tickets and premium seating options.
  • Follows up effectively with customers and prospective customers to build relationships to help drive business and exceed assigned sales goals for all ticketed events.
  • Regularly produces accurate reports (sales, ticket manifests, etc.)
  • Works closely with the sales and marketing team by utilizing data and resources captured through the ticketing platform to drive sales of future events.
  • Sets up agreements and contracts with clients to provide ticketing services.
  • Manages and oversees reports for auditing and settlement purposes, as is required via event contracts as well as local, state and federal laws.
  • Produces and analyzes reports to provide sales and attendance trends and how they relate to sales, specials and promotions.
  • Reconciles events and balances financial transactions.
  • Ensures proper policy and procedure is followed as it relates to cash handling and sales transactions.
  • Oversees the development, execution and maintenance of ticket office resources including website, forms, documents, software & hardware.
