About The Position

Saab, Inc. in East Syracuse, NY is currently seeking a Billing Supervisor to join the team. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and plays a strategic role in overseeing key functions within the Billing department. Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: Coordinate, perform, and oversee all activities within the Billing department. Review and approve invoices generated by the Billing team Collaborate with General Accounting functions. Manage billing workflow and provide direction on prioritization of requests Support the growth and development of the Billing team Ensure invoices are prepared in accordance with company and government guidelines Compensation Range: $80,900-$101,100 The compensation range provided is a general guideline. Skills and Experience: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related, and 3-5+ years of experience, or 8+ years of related experience in lieu of degree. Prior supervisory or team lead experience is required. Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for execution, accuracy, and results while leading a small team. Familiarity with Oracle, with the ability to extract, organize, and maintain accurate databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Solid written and oral communication skills and analytical problem-solving abilities. Sound business judgment, ability to discern company priorities, and strong sense of urgency. High level of enthusiasm, adaptability, and intuition while managing internal and external needs. Desired Qualifications: Experience with ERP systems implementation and project management is a plus. Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen.
