Since 1956, Flexcon has supplied products for a wide range of industries including packaging, medical devices, automotive, durable labeling and more. We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Maintenance Supervisor role. This is a supervisory position of both mechanics and electricians. The scope is focused in the local facility operations, with support to other facilities as needed. This is a technical position requiring a broad knowledge of our processes and equipment. This is a 5-day salaried position working from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In addition, calls can be made from the off shifts when problems arise to support our continuous operations.

Requirements

  • 2-year technical degree required or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 3 plus years of supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Thermal Oxidizers is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the workload of the Maintenance department
  • Complete performance evaluations on time.
  • Implement Preventive Maintenance schedule and recommend appropriate changes.
  • Support company's goals and objectives and communicate them to group.
  • Make use of our CMMS system as a tool to manage this function.
  • Oversee outside contractors as necessary.
  • Provide accurate time estimates of individual projects.
  • Keep current with all safety training and Tool Box meetings.
  • Adhere to all ISO procedures.
  • Provide support to off-site facilities if necessary.
  • Could be required to come in for a plant emergency.
  • Work with Engineering Department to implement projects.
  • Recommend cost reductions and department efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain all process equipment and fork trucks.
  • Follow all Maintenance standard operating procedures.
  • Complete management objectives as given
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
