You will: Provide exemplary service and ensure Operations Standards are met by resolving guest concerns, investigating and providing recommendations to correct reoccurring guest issues, ensuring all team members are providing the highest level of guest courtesy, recognizing and rewarding team members who provide exceptional service Interview and hire leadership team members Supervise, train and counsel team members, team leads and assistant supervisors while enforcing and complying with safety procedures, guidelines and park policies and procedures Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks, lunches and hours worked per day Oversee water and first aid send-outs Monitor and control labor budgets as directed by the Aquatics Manager Manage the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all team members complete tasks within a timely manner What it takes to succeed: At least 18 years of age High School Diploma preferred Must have at least one (1) year of leadership experience or equivalent external experience Must have an American Red Cross Lifeguarding or Shallow Water Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED for Lifeguards and Water Park Skills certification or must be able to pass all requirements to obtain certification in these courses. Maintain an acceptable level of proficiency of park knowledge, water rescue, CPR/AED, and First Aid Skills. A passion for customer service Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests’ needs Ability to work in a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment Ability to assist with pre and post season setup and breakdown on a limited basis. This involves both administrative and outside work Flexibility to perform varied duties What else is important: Must be able to act responsibly with a high attention to safety Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement. Scare Squad - Enthusiastic performers, who are passionate about Halloween, to add fun and scary excitement to our award-winning Howl-O-Scream events. Vocalists - Great energy and stage presence who can demonstrate technical proficiency in a variety of styles including pop, rock, musical theatre, classical, contemporary, and a cappella vocal styling. Capacity to hear/sing harmonies is a must. Sight reading skills are not required but are preferred. Vocalists perform in multiple high-energy shows per day to connect with our guests and create memories that last a lifetime. How should I prepare for my audition? You will be asked to learn a dance combination and participate in improve and athletic stamina exercises. Costumed character auditions are based primarily on movement, non-verbal communication, and physical coordination. Please arrive early enough to stretch and warm up before the audition begins. Please wear form fitting dance attire that allows a full range of movement and tennis or jazz shoes. Please do not wear jeans.
