About The Position

Job Summary Leads, supports, and coordinates Anesthesia Technician staff. Supports the anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist by the preparation and assistance in the setting up of appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

3 years Anesthesia Tech experience
Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Computer literacy.
Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T)
ASATT certification within 6 months.
BLS within 15 days of hire.

Responsibilities

To provide support and assist manager with leading the anesthesia technicians.
Leads daily technician activities, workflow, and work schedules as necessary. Assist with ordering anesthesia supplies. Ensure the needs of the Anesthesiologists and CRNAs are met.
Assist anesthesiologists with equipment setup, patient monitoring, and technical troubleshooting during procedures.
Communicates and coordinates current policies and ensures implementation of new policies and procedures are followed correctly.
Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Understands and complies with all regulatory, procedural, policy, and licensing and/or certification requirements.
Effectively manages anesthesia technicians technical practice
Coordinates and/or participates in Performance Improvement.
Coordinates and/or participates in ongoing educational activities
Completes assigned goals.
