About The Position

The Anatomic Pathology Operations Supervisor oversees the administrative and operational functions of the Anatomic Pathology (AP) department, ensuring effective support for Pathologists and clinical partners. The role is responsible for workflow oversight, staffing coverage, and day today operational continuity in a highvolume, timesensitive environment. Key accountabilities include supervising and coaching Office Coordinators, prioritizing work, monitoring quality and compliance, and supporting training consistency and quality initiatives. The Supervisor serves as the primary operational liaison and escalation point for complex issues, supports standardized workflows, and partners with laboratory leadership to advance departmental goals while fostering a professional, customerfocused environment aligned with Tampa General Hospital’s mission and values.

Requirements

Five years of progressive clerical or administrative experience, including at least one year in a leadership or supervisory capacity
Education beyond a high school diploma may substitute for up to one year of required experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
