About The Position

The Supervisor Aircraft Services position at Bell Piney Flats involves leading and supervising personnel in daily operations related to aircraft maintenance. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • FAA A&P Certification
  • 5+ years' experience related to aircraft maintenance operations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Thorough understanding of FAA regulations and guidelines
  • Extensive working knowledge of Bell helicopters
  • Ability to determine the airworthiness of aircraft
  • Strong customer focus and drive for results
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop others
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation, business or related field
  • 5+ years' experience maintaining or working with Bell aircraft
  • 2+ years supervising others

Responsibilities

  • Train and monitor personnel to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Supervise, lead, and direct the work of shop floor personnel.
  • Recognize and reward employees' contributions and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct interviews, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to share personnel resources and ensure project completion.
  • Oversee aircraft teardown and maintenance to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure work order books are complete before returning aircraft to service.
  • Maintain shop equipment and cleanliness of workstations.
  • Work closely with Logistics and Procurement to order necessary parts.
  • Guide aircraft troubleshooting and offer technical guidance as needed.
