About The Position

The Supervisor, Admin Services supervises, trains and evaluates the work of the Plant clerical staff and other Plant departments as they relate to administrative processes. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in a business discipline. May consider candidate with extensive directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Five or more years of clerical/administrative experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of commonly accepted administrative processes and computer capabilities (required).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train and evaluate a team of clerical staff and coordinate their work in support of the plant and its departments.
  • Act as Company representative in matters relating to grievances and contract issues.
  • Administer/oversee the scheduling of employees for fire school, various training programs, the Health Evaluation Program and other OSHA requirements.
  • Authorize and oversee the FR clothing program
  • Serve as Plant representative in the canvass of job bids at the plant and other Company locations and coordinate and track personnel transfers and promotions.
  • Oversee the purchase of office furniture, office supplies and the purchase and maintenance of office equipment in the Plant.
  • Act as Plant Site eQMS and Records Coordinator in the creation, maintenance, and destruction of office files and records, and as liaison for telephone services and vending equipment.
  • Coordinate Plant participation in Company/Community projects and initiatives.
  • Designated Site Administrator for TRIS, PCard Program, Alcohol & Drug Testing Program and Restricted Duty Program.
  • Act as Plant representative in contacts with outside vendors.
  • Assist Plant departments in performing periodic reviews of employee performance and attendance records and provide FMLA and Sick Leave Policy support.
  • Support the management of the Plant’s administrative procedures.
  • Maintain an interface with Human Resources and other departments within the Company.
