The position is in-office, first shift. Oversight of several operations in a warehouse environment; Document Storage, Shipping and Receiving, and Subrogation Evidence Storage. Responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of personnel and activities in assigned area to include staffing plans and recommendations, as well as employee selection, training, counseling, career development, and the administration of performance evaluations and rewards. Provides leadership and direction to employees, vendors, and contractors in providing technical or support services to various State Farm locations. Develop and analyze reports to control and monitor areas of responsibility. Develop, prepare, and monitor business goals, plans, and budgets for the assigned areas. Research, document, and present cost-effective business solutions and recommendations. Ensure a safe working environment. Maintain awareness of internal and external regulations affecting assigned area and react to changes in a timely manner. Perform duties or provide support for other management positions as necessitated by business need. Expected to manage confidential information. Requires involvement in company approved educational programs as applicable for continued development; may include but is not limited to supervisor skills developmental programs, courses related to specific areas of responsibility, possible technical or vocational courses and programs, or training programs made available by vendors and or contractors. Subject to call-in outside of normal office hours. Subject to alternate shift work. Job could require incumbent travel via commercial transportation and/or driving motor vehicles to other State Farm locations.
