About The Position

We thrive on the challenge of getting the seemingly impossible done and doing it safely. THE POSITION Simpson Barracks Part Time role 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible with start/finish time No weekends or public holidays Specifically responsible for overseeing cleaning and accommodation services Free Onsite Parking Working autonomously on different responsibilities
Requirements
- The preferred applicant will be required to achieve a Defence Baseline Security Clearance and pass an Australian Federal Police check prior to confirmation of employment
- Hold full Australian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transportation to get to the base
- Strong attention to detail and take pride in your work is essential
- Be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills
- An intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office suite is essential.
- Participate in an after-hours On Call roster
- A positive and friendly attitude
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and experience of Public Private Partnerships (PPP), hotel chain style operational management or Defence Garrison Support Services would be highly advantageous
- Experience in a similar position as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Chemical handling experience is advantageous
