The position involves conducting pre-planned coaching and mentoring for General Managers (GMs), Assistant Managers (AMs), and crew members. The role requires planning on-the-job coaching objectives before each store visit using a store planning tool, providing suggestive coaching on key operations and management skills, and conducting annual performance appraisals. The individual will provide positive, constructive, and actionable feedback, as well as professional development and career track mentoring to GMs and AMs. Achieving operational excellence in all stores through a structured approach is essential, which includes reinforcing the execution of key company policies and standards, identifying and diagnosing operational gaps in underperforming stores, and developing formal action plans to resolve these gaps. The role also involves coordinating field support resources as needed. Additionally, the position includes financial oversight and review meetings, where the individual will review key financial variables as part of store visit pre-planning, analyze and track financial and operational data to derive meaningful business insights, and develop short executive presentations to communicate key trends and results. Presenting financial and operational weekly updates during Market Leader and area GM meetings is also a key responsibility, ensuring that stores meet operating plans through P/L reviews and quarterly business reviews. The individual will take a leadership role in market development activities to drive AWUS growth, coordinating with the Market Leader and field support to develop market business plans, driving the development and execution of Local Store Marketing (LSM), and empowering GMs to take leadership roles in executing LSM initiatives. Coordination with the Market Leader to identify and pursue new AWUS growth opportunities is also part of the role.
