Under general direction of the California High Speed Rail Authority's (Authority) Enterprise Risk Director, the Supervising Transportation Engineer (Enterprise Risk Manager) provides leadership and oversight to the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Section. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day management of the ERM program, whose objective is to enable data-driven, risk-based decisions across the organization that help the Authority achieve its strategic goals. In addition, the incumbent will also have a key role in developing an internal control framework to advance operational effectiveness across the organization. The incumbent will manage activities to ensure alignment with leading principles and guidance's from Federal Government Accountability Office's (GAO) Green Book and the Committee of Sponsoring Organization's (COSO). As the deputy contract manager for the Authority's Risk Advisory contract, the incumbent will ensure timely completion of deliverables from consultant and state resources.
