About The Position

Then you have come to the right place! This position provides an opportunity to work in a challenging and exciting work environment, the opportunity to travel, and flexible work hours. Travel shall also include visits to the Sacramento Field office, to provide supervisory oversight for Special Investigators in the Sacramento Region. Travel is also required throughout California and may include overnight travel. The position may include occasional weekend assignments that will require an adjustment to the employee's work schedule. This position may require up to 50% travel annually. Working irregular hours may be required including nights, holidays, and weekends. Some travel is required within and/or outside the State of California via private or public transportation (i.e., automobile, airplane, etc.). Incumbent must have and maintain a valid California driver's license and be able to travel via various means of public transportation methods, including, but not limited to commercial airlines, public shuttles, shared rental cars, etc. Incumbent does not have peace officer authority, nor do they perform peace officer responsibilities as defined in the pertinent Penal Code California Section 830 et. seq. This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position's designated headquarters location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense. Beginning July 1, 2026, it is anticipated the position will be office-centered and employees will be expected to report to the office at least four days per week. Requirements

  • The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.

  • Experience leading/supervising the work of others.
  • Proficiency, training, and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power point, Oracle, Case Management etc.) or comparable software.
