About The Position
This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in person at their designated approved HQ location at least two (2) days per week and as needed/required. Beginning July 1, 2025, all DGS employees will be required to work in office at their assigned HQ location four (4) days per week and as needed/required in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Under the general direction of the Assistant Branch Chief (Section Chief), the Supervising Real Estate Officer directs and manages the work of real estate professionals and clerical/technical support staff in the performance of a wide range of activities of real property to meet the diverse needs of the State of California agencies. All work is to be accomplished in accordance with applicable state law, State Policy, DGS policies and procedures, RPSS policies, best real estate business and managerial practices, Government Code, and State Administrative Manual.
