About The Position
Lead, develop and elevate patient care at a brand-new, state-of-the-art Evergreen Health facility! Requirements
- NYS licensed, board-certified Physician
- BLS certification
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential
- Licensed Physician registered with the New York State Education Department
- Board certified in a medical specialty- Internal Family Medicine, Pediatrics preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an active medical practice, with proven administrative/supervisory responsibilities preferred

Responsibilities
- Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examinations and diagnostic tests
- In accordance with medical protocols, evaluates test findings, makes initial medical diagnosis and develops and implements a therapeutic plan consistent with the continuing healthcare needs of the patient
- Develops appropriate primary care health regimens for patients utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach
- Participates in planning with other staff in Primary & Specialty Care for the development and monitoring of all required services to patients
- Assists in providing learning experiences for clinical staff and other allied health professionals
- Provides supervision to other members of the medical team
