About The Position
The Supervising Janitor position at SUNY Old Westbury involves overseeing cleaning activities for the campus, ensuring compliance with established guidelines, and managing a team of custodial staff. The role requires planning and scheduling staff assignments, inspecting buildings for cleanliness, and addressing any service performance complaints. The successful candidate will also be responsible for budget preparation, inventory management, and providing training and supervision to custodial staff. This position is permanent and full-time, with a shift from Tuesday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
