About The Position

The Fresno County Department of Public Works and Planning invites applications for the position of Supervising Engineer. Incumbents are licensed Professional Engineers and plan, direct, and manage a civil/and or traffic engineering section or sections of the Department of Public Works and Planning. Requirements

• Possession of a valid license or Certificate of Registration as a Professional Civil, Structural, or Traffic Engineer issued by the State of California, Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
• Five (5) years of full-time, paid civil, structural, or traffic engineering work experience, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity over engineers.
• Possession of a valid Class "C" driver's license, or equivalent, may be required.
