About The Position

Aloha! One of Hawaii's largest energy companies has an opening for a Supervising Telecom Engineer. Description Supervises, plans, organizes, coordinates and manages the operations of an engineering section to provide design engineering, project engineering, program management, standards development, project planning/forecasting, budget planning/forecasting, and general engineering duties in support of the capital construction projects and programs of the client. Strong background in communications and controls as it applies to an electric utility with an emphasis on substation, transmission and distribution communications. Areas of knowledge include microwave, fiber, MPLS, JMUX, PLTE, wireless, SCADA, communication networks, generation, and control schemes and philosophies. Provides technical knowledge, expertise, leadership, training, and guidance to the Section and to the Telecomm Division.
