Department: GG_Public Works: Stormwater Management Engineering Services Salary Range Minimum: $103,640.00 Salary Range Maximum: $164,129.26 Closing Date: 01/30/2026 Job Details: Supervising engineering work coordinating teams of Public Works engineers, and/or technical support specialists in planning, developing, and implementing the capital improvement program (CIP) and review of development projects. This position will report to the City Engineer and work under general supervision. Work in this class is distinguished from higher classes by its lack of managerial responsibility and from lower classes by its emphasis (over 50% of the time) on the coordination, motivation, and guidance of professional staff engaged in project delivery and development review. Projects will include roadway and stormwater projects from the PD&E phase through construction close-out including but not limited to scoping, feasibility, due diligence, public involvement, right-of-way, surveying, design, procurement of services and CEI. Projects may include specialty funds, such as state and federal grants, and adhering to grant requirements. To qualify for this position you must have graduated from an accredited (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology - ABET) four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree. Eight years or more experience in the area of assigned engineering responsibility. Appropriate co-op time and/or an advanced degree in engineering or business may be recognized for up to six months of experience. Master’s Degree from an ABET accredited educational institution may be recognized for additional experience. Knowledge and experience with Engineering Economic Analysis and Engineering Project Management are required. Supervisory training or experience required.
