Cornerstone is seeking a Superintendent to join our Construction Division and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare projects across the country. The Superintendent plays a vital role in coordinating daily field operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring that each project runs efficiently and on schedule. This position is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who thrives in the field and is passionate about building spaces that directly support better patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of five years of field construction experience, preferably in medical office or healthcare facilities.
  • Working knowledge of construction practices, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer and mobile technology proficiency (email, reporting tools, construction software).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification.
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
  • Trade certification or vocational training in carpentry, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities.
  • Promote and enforce safety compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractor work and monitor quality and progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including safety logs, daily reports, and delivery records.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, field staff, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain timelines.
  • Conduct site walk-throughs and assist in verifying work against project plans and specifications.
  • Support project closeout and punch list completion.
  • Assist in workforce scheduling, logistics planning, and materials management.
