About The Position
Skillforce is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, leading crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Requirements
- Experience as a Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety, and jobsite management
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Pipe welding and fitting experience preferred
- OSHA certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field crews and subcontractors
- Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings
- Stay ahead of schedules by planning work and anticipating jobsite needs
- Coordinate and procure materials to keep projects moving
- Run and oversee pipe installation projects
- Step in and assist with pipe welding and fitting when needed
- Enforce safety standards and ensure quality control
- Conduct site inspections and maintain project documentation
- Communicate daily with teams to track progress and resolve issues
