About The Position

This position supports a federal-focused general contractor delivering construction projects within secure and mission-critical facilities. The organization operates with a small, experienced field team, allowing Superintendents to lead the work directly, make decisions in the field, and work closely with ownership and federal representatives. Projects in the Great Lakes area include facility renovations, building envelope upgrades, interior construction, utilities, and infrastructure work performed in controlled and often occupied environments. Travel packages or relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates who are not local. This role is best suited for a senior Federal Construction Superintendent who understands federal processes, documentation, and jobsite execution.

Requirements

• 7 plus years of experience as a Superintendent in federal construction
• Strong understanding of federal construction processes and documentation
• Experience coordinating multiple trades on complex projects
• Working knowledge of EM 385 1 1 and OSHA safety standards
• Ability to lead work in secure or occupied federal environments

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain construction schedules and sequencing
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and federal requirements
• Coordinate with the QCM and SSHO on quality and safety matters
• Communicate with project management and government representatives
