About The Position

Superintendent | Minimum of five (5) years of commercial or industrial construction experience, with at least three (3) of those years as a lead role on a project site. Industrial, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects experienced are preferred. Willing to travel nationwide. Smart Skills: Builder Expertise (Constructability Knowledge) Proficiency in employing the foundational principles of construction management, encompassing the adept utilization of expertise tailored to trades and scopes of work. Assumes the responsibility for scheduling, production, logistics, quality, and safety on assigned project. Participates with the project team in preparation and presentation for all project review meetings. Risk, Cost, and Change Management Supports the planning of project general conditions + understands financial goals and objectives. Partners with project management to identify schedule and costs associated with project changes. Participates in the project buy out meetings with subcontractors and vendors; analyzes scope and contractual commitments. Owns Schedule (Analyzes, Interprets, Articulates) Creates, comprehends, implements, and communicates the schedule in conjunction with project management. Manages project schedule to meet or exceed project milestones; lean construction process is encouraged. Creates and utilizes FCC standard scheduling tools and techniques including phasing plans, visual schedules, critical path, OPS, production tracking, etc. Healthy Skills Negotiation Skills The ability to reach agreements and compromises in a way that benefits all parties involved. Believe in your ability to deliver a successful presentation. Self-confidence can be projected to your audience.
