About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee daily field operations for commercial fencing projects. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment. Perimeter Solutions Group is the premier provider of fence, gates, automation/access controls, and rental barriers in the US with locations in Tampa, Lake Helen FL, McDonough GA, Savannah GA, Phoenix AZ and Glendale AZ. PSG is a rapidly growing and expanding platform, performing a over 1,000 installations annually including commercial, educational, military, governmental, and alternate energy properties throughout the southern U.S.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of fence installation experience (commercial preferred)
  • Experience with chain link, ornamental, vinyl, and other fencing types
  • Proven experience managing installation or repair projects
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role
  • Experience managing crews, schedules, and job site productivity
  • Strong communication skills with teams, clients, and vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Knowledge of construction processes (excavation, concrete, post setting)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and job site safety practices
  • Familiarity with local and state construction regulations

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support fence installation crews on active job sites
  • Coordinate project schedules, labor, and materials with Project Managers
  • Conduct site visits with clients to review project scope, layout, and readiness
  • Review drawings and material lists; assist with procurement of materials and equipment
  • Schedule and launch crews for upcoming projects
  • Troubleshoot job site issues and support crew leaders as needed
  • Communicate field changes and updates to Project Managers for change orders
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
  • Perform quality control checks and verify completed work (including photos)
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and safety regulations
