About The Position

We're seeking a Superintendent in the Charlotte and Raleigh areas willing to travel around North Carolina and neighboring states who combines deep construction knowledge with exceptional people and safety leadership. In this role, you'll oversee diverse projects-tilt-wall, wood frame, steel, and block construction-while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and collaboration. Your ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors, maintain trusted connections with local jurisdictions, and apply a deep understanding of the trades will be key to keeping projects moving smoothly, on time, and in compliance. What You'll Do: Lead field operations for projects of varying size and complexity from mobilization to closeout. Maintain full safety oversight on site, enforcing compliance and fostering a culture where safety is a shared priority. Manage subcontractors effectively-holding them accountable to scope, schedule, quality, and safety requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with inspectors, permitting offices, and other local authorities to avoid delays and ensure compliance. Apply expert-level trade knowledge to coordinate work sequences, solve complex field issues, and verify quality at every stage. Oversee daily construction activities, proactively addressing challenges and finding solutions. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution. What You Bring: Hands-on experience in tilt-wall, wood frame, steel, and block construction. Proven track record of successfully managing subcontractors in the field.
