Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implement safety procedures to ensure OSHA guidelines are followed Maintain and enforce the company's Injury and Illness Prevention Program Coordinate and administer safety meetings with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and Brycon field personnel Prepare pre-task plans and conduct toolbox talks with subcontractors and Brycon field personnel Provide technical expertise, involvement with project estimates and schedule development throughout the preconstruction process Communicate with the Project Manager to keep him or her apprised of construction progress and associated issues or problems that may affect the baseline schedule Obtain project jobsite trailer, temporary utilities, access roads, storage facilities, site fencing, and other needed jobsite facilities Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and Brycon field personnel to coordinate and facilitate baseline schedule Review the plans and specifications for constructability and construction schedules and advise the project team of issues or deficiencies Create a punch list for subcontractors and Brycon personnel and ensure items are completed satisfactorily Review and ensure deliveries/invoices are timely and accurate Communicate with Project Engineer on critical path and long lead items to determine priorities to maintain the schedule Schedule, manage and document third-party and city inspections to acquire final inspections and certificate of occupancy Assist in preparing RFIs as needed to be issued by Project Engineer Prepare three-week look-ahead schedules for distribution to the Project Manager and subcontractors Prepare/submit field crew timesheets Attend OAC meetings and participate in discussing 3-week lookaheads and baseline schedule updates. Obtain and maintain Dust Control Permit and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) Schedule and complete AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) inspection Manage self-perform scopes of work Maintain jobsite Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Employees may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employees will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
