About The Position

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent based in Tennessee who is open to traveling to projects across the United States. This role will oversee field operations on large scale industrial and warehouse construction projects, with a strong emphasis on civil scope and site development.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing large industrial sites and understands the complexities of civil work including utilities, roads, grading, and major earthwork. Experience with big box or industrial warehouse construction, including tilt up structures, is strongly preferred.
This position requires a hands on field leader who can coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on industrial, distribution, or big box warehouse construction projects
• Strong background in civil construction including utilities, grading, roadwork, and large site development
• Ability to manage large project sites and multiple subcontractors simultaneously
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Must be comfortable working on large industrial sites and managing complex field operations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with tilt up construction is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day field operations on large industrial and warehouse construction projects
• Manage all on site construction activities including scheduling, coordination, and quality control
• Oversee major site development including grading, utilities, roads, drainage, and large earthwork operations
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work meets project schedule and quality expectations
• Maintain jobsite safety standards and enforce all safety procedures
• Work closely with Project Managers and leadership to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Conduct daily site inspections and resolve field related issues
• Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and local regulations
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions with internal teams and project stakeholders
