Overview Summary The Superintendent is responsible for providing overall on-site leadership including supervision, scheduling, financial management, subcontractor relations, and other related activities.

Requirements

Ability to work varied day and evening timeframes required and ability to daily travel within the greater Los Angeles area
Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision and Subcontractor management
Experienced in managing multiple projects

Study concentration in construction management
Experience with LAUSD

Responsibilities

Coordinates and supervises all construction activities
Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
Maintains construction schedule, and identifies and solves problems
Ensures contractor places material orders and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
Maintains positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and other team members
Reviews prepared schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list
Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
Ensures all company team members and contractors are adhering to the company safety policies
