District Leadership Expectations: Will support the Board of Education in achieving the district's mission, vision, and goals through effective leadership of compliance, policy guidance, data oversight, community engagement, academic improvement and excellence, fostering a positive culture for staff, teachers and students. Financial Acumen: Will exhibit strong leadership, securing financial opportunities (Bond election), managing operations efficiently and effectively to maintain district standards of excellence, student academic success and vision for deliberate and sustainable growth. Educational Leader: Will have a proven track record of exhibiting excellent leadership strategies for developing and inspiring administrators, staff and teachers in the Cheney tradition of upholding high standards, academic excellence through staff development and support, curriculum design grounded in fundamental principles and standards that ensure student academic success, growth, and create career and college opportunities for students.
