The Superintendent Security/TSS - International position at Caddell involves managing and overseeing security systems essential for field personnel engaged in restricted work on U.S. Government international projects. This role is critical as it serves as the Senior Construction Security Representative, interfacing with the Accrediting Official and the Office of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) as required. The Superintendent is responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures and Special Instructions that govern the surveillance function for secure construction sites. This includes monitoring compliance with security requirements and ensuring the security integrity of the construction site by implementing the approved Construction Security Plan (CSP). The Superintendent will conduct daily security inspections throughout the construction duration, documenting any security violations or deviations from the CSP and notifying the Accrediting Official accordingly. Additionally, this role involves maintaining a list of all approved personnel authorized to work on the secure construction site, ensuring that each individual has undergone the approved vetting process, and implementing procedures to deny unauthorized access. The Superintendent will also collaborate with construction firms and subcontractors to ensure the security of the construction site and will act as the primary field point of contact with all government oversight agencies. The working conditions for this position are set in a construction environment, requiring full-time commitment and travel. The role demands physical capabilities such as crawling, climbing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, standing for long periods, and lifting over 50 lbs. The Superintendent must also be able to withstand confined spaces and extreme heights while performing tasks safely. The position is subject to varying weather conditions depending on the location of the project.
