About The Position

Skillforce is partnering with a leading general contractor to find a skilled Superintendent for a 4-month restaurant new construction project in St. Louis, MO, starting immediately. The role offers a bonus of up to $5k upon project completion, with the potential for full-time employment with the general contractor if there's a mutual fit after the project concludes.

Requirements

3+ years of commercial construction field supervision experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to lead and manage crews effectively.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean MVR required.
Background check, drug screen, and MVR required.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and crews on commercial construction sites.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project specifications.
Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines.
Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve issues proactively.
Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation.
Provide leadership, direction, and support to field staff.
Demonstrate flexibility to return home as project phases allow.
