Superintendent Reclaim Shipping and Receiving
About The Position
Proactive Safety-first attitude at all times. Ensure compliance to all company policies, rules, regulations and laws including the CBA. Meet production goals and increase productivity. Mentor and train reclaim department supervision in all aspects of the reclaim department. Mentor and train shipping receiving supervision in all aspects of the department. Administer discipline as needed for hourly and salary employees. Ensure accurate inventories and documentation in all areas. Aid in the investigation of scrap heats in order to eliminate problems from reclaim department Track performance of shift supervisors and managers. Report and communicate any relevant information in morning meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years in Melt or Reclaim
- 5 years Shipping Receiving supervision experience
- Primary Melt and Reclaim Practices
- Knowledge of Raw Materials, Purchased Scraps, and Revert Scraps
- Mobile and Scrap Processing Equipment
- Inventory Control
- Department Budgetary
- Shipping/Receiving operations
- Written and Oral Communication
- Computer Literate
- Interpersonal Skills
