About The Position

Lead, direct and oversee the safe and effective daily field operation of a project up to $20M, or provide field operation support on larger, more complex projects. Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience preferred.
  • 5 years of field supervision
  • Must be 21 years old
  • NC Drivers License

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily implementation and maintenance of clean and safe work site and to motivate field operations teams to work to their highest efficiency to exceed project requirements, quality control and productivity.
  • Take ownership of the overall project schedule including assisting in schedule development and schedule updates.
  • Lead and implement the schedule by coordinating subcontractors and resources.
  • Support the management of contract requirements and scopes of work.
  • Field documentation, punch-list, close-out, and communication of contract/scope changes with project manager.
  • Extensive involvement in the 3D field coordination of trades with the virtual construction team.
  • Ensure all work is installed per the coordinated 3D model
  • Assist in the planning and project set up during the pre-construction phase, including constructability, schedule, scopes of work and site logistics.
  • Promote and Support good internal and external relationships throughout all divisions and departments of Barnhill Contracting Company, with clients and the public
  • Participates in training opportunities to increase competencies.
