The company is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent – Infrastructure to oversee the daily field operations of major utility and civil construction projects. The Superintendent will lead construction crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications, codes, and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep field experience in water, sewer, storm drain, pipeline, and treatment plant construction. The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, and field personnel to successfully deliver complex infrastructure projects from mobilization through final completion.

  • Supervise daily construction and installation activities for sewer, water, storm drain, pipeline, and treatment plant projects.
  • Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and on-site operations to ensure timely and high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to review schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and work sequences.
  • Enforce safety regulations, company policies, and all relevant codes and standards.
  • Manage labor, equipment, materials, and site logistics.
  • Perform regular site inspections and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Report daily progress, challenges, and changes to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with permits, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and agency representatives.
  • Resolve on-site issues such as delays, weather challenges, and personnel conflicts.
  • Review and approve daily field reports and construction documentation.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 10 years of construction supervision experience, with a strong background in infrastructure projects (sewer, water, storm drainage, pipelines, treatment plants).
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate field teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and building codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
