About The Position

GCON is delivering a landmark hyperscale data center campus in West Texas, purpose-built to support next-generation AI, cloud computing, and high-performance workloads. We are seeking experienced Data Center Superintendents to lead field execution on a multi-year program at the forefront of AI infrastructure development. This campus-scale deployment represents a rare opportunity to help build the physical backbone of artificial intelligence in one of the fastest-growing hyperscale markets in the country. You will oversee schedule execution, subcontractor coordination, safety leadership, and quality control across multiple phases of construction on a campus-scale program.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of MEP-intensive construction and complex sequencing
• Proven ability to lead large teams over extended project durations
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to commit to a 25 year project assignment in West Texas

Nice To Haves

• Direct experience with hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, or advanced manufacturing strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution for hyperscale data center construction, including core & shell, MEP, and mission-critical systems
• Drive schedule adherence across multi-building, multi-phase construction programs
• Manage large subcontractor workforces in fast-paced, high-complexity environments
• Enforce industry-leading safety standards and cultivate a zero-incident culture
• Oversee quality control, inspections, and commissioning readiness for critical systems
• Coordinate closely with owners, designers, inspectors, and trade partners
• Maintain accurate field documentation, look-ahead schedules, and daily reports
• Support continuous improvement across project phases
