Requirements

Minimum of 10 years’ experience working as a construction superintendent on commercial projects
Experience renovating existing structures from demolition through close-out
Capable of reading, understanding, and analyzing construction drawings and specifications
Able to read, understand, and implement project schedules
Technology skills: Ability to generate and review records, reports and emails using a laptop computer or tablet and mobile phone.
Strong safety record
OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred
High school graduate/GED
Must successfully pass a post-offer physical exam, drug test, and background check if offered employment

Nice To Haves

Construction of new buildings from out-of-the-ground through close-out experience preferred
Prior healthcare facility and laboratory renovation experience highly desired
Effective time management skills; ability to plan, schedule, and delegate work to employees
Procore experience a plus
CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate, schedule, and oversee subcontractors
Be an effective communicator and Company representative capable of working with owners, field personnel, and project management staff
Schedule and accept jobsite deliveries
Maintain inventory of Petra-purchased materials
Process documents as required by Company policies and applicable contracts
Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of record/as-built drawings
Self-perform interior fit-up work and temporary protection measures when needed
Ability to inspect work in progress
