This entry-level Supercenter Team Member position, also referred to as a General Merchandise Clerk, is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role involves a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising, and requires collaboration with other team members and managers. Responsibilities

  • Deliver remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude.
  • Complete a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, and merchandising.
  • Complete a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising.
  • Collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed.
  • Build rapport with customers.
  • Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
  • Help customers with any questions they may have.
  • Direct customers to another team member who can answer questions if unable to do so personally.
  • Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
  • Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
