About The Position

Riskified is growing our Business Development organization and we’re looking for a strategic problem-solver to join our Super Enterprise team. This is not your typical Business Development opportunity as we focus on generating leads and nurturing long-term engagement with some of the largest, fastest growing companies in the Fortune 500 and beyond. Through a combination of research, creativity, and industry expertise, the Riskified Business Development team takes a consultative approach to prospecting at the top of the lead funnel and owns early stages of the sales discovery process. High-achieving Business Development reps specialize in identifying a target company’s needs, challenges, and can tailor their outreach accordingly to key decision makers. They excel at networking, where they gain plenty of experience by attending multiple conferences, trade shows, and other events across the year. More than anything, we are seeking bright, driven people who are curious about business to join our team and help drive revenue – making a direct impact on our growth. Requirements

  • Able to quickly understand Riskified’s value proposition, technology, and our place within the payments, eCommerce, and fraud technology space
  • While sales experience is not necessarily required, curious, self-motivated, competitive, and adaptable individuals are most successful in this role. In other words: be prepared to tell us why you are passionate about a career in sales and business development
  • Must be able to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization - we work in a very open and collaborative environment and love people who bring their ideas and ambition with them every day
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with a degree of self-sufficiency
  • Attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Generate quality sales opportunities through proactive, strategic prospecting and networking
  • Research industries and companies to find the key decision makers then establish, develop, and nurture relationships with those decision makers
  • Uncover prospect’s challenges through thoughtful sales discovery to determine how Riskified can provide a solution to business problems
  • Apply proven sales approaches, techniques, while developing your own skills
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other virtual/in-person events
