About The Position

The PRN House Supervisor RN at Laredo Medical Center is responsible for supervising patient care provided by nursing departments during night shifts. This role acts as a liaison between nursing administration and various departments to ensure high-quality patient care, reflecting the values of LMC. The House Supervisor reports to the Supervisor of Nursing Services and CNO/ACNO, overseeing the operations of the nursing department without having direct reports.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Five (5) years previous experience as an R.N. in the clinical field.
• Current RN license for the State of Texas.
• Current CPR certification at hire, with PALS and ACLS certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care provided by nursing departments according to physicians' orders and LMC policies.
• Act as a liaison between nursing administration and various nursing and ancillary departments.
• Ensure high-quality patient care is provided in accordance with LMC values.
• Oversee operations of the nursing department during assigned shifts.
