About The Position
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness, Inc. is a pivotal leadership role responsible for guiding the organization in its mission to end homelessness in Sarasota, Florida. The CEO will be instrumental in advancing the organization's strategic initiatives, fostering community relationships, and ensuring the effective management of resources. This position requires a leader who is not only passionate about the mission but also possesses the skills to navigate the complexities of community relations and organizational governance. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Continuum of Care (CoC) Leadership Council to align the organization's goals with the broader objectives of the CoC, ensuring that the organization remains a key player in the fight against homelessness. In this role, the CEO will be accountable for the overall operations of the organization, including program development, fundraising, and compliance with state and federal regulations. The CEO will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and the private sector. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate the organization's vision and inspire others to join in the mission. The CEO will lead a dedicated team and will be expected to cultivate a positive organizational culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and accountability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in homelessness and experience working within the CoC framework. They will also have a proven track record of successful senior management experience, particularly in community relations and working with a Board of Directors. The CEO will play a critical role in securing funding through state and federal grants, ensuring that the organization has the resources necessary to achieve its goals.
