About The Position
Buffalo Air Handling is seeking summer workers for its locations in Amherst and Lynchburg, VA. This opportunity is ideal for college students, high school graduates heading to college, or those attending business or trade schools. The positions available will provide valuable work experience, a chance to earn money, and support for upcoming projects at Buffalo Air Handling. Workers can choose between 1st or 2nd shift, and standard personal protective equipment is required, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and safety toe shoes or boots. A $50 reimbursement for safety shoes will be provided upon receipt submission. Limited positions are available in Assembly, Electrical, Welding, and Material Handling. The pay rate is $17.61 per hour for a standard 40-hour work week, with voluntary overtime when offered. Pre-employment drug screening and physicals are required, and the position is exempt from benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance. All hired individuals must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Additionally, there are scholarship opportunities for employees currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in a college, university, or business or trade school.
