About The Position

Plans, implements, supervises youth members and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area. Builds and maintains a professional relationship with all youth and their families to help advance the mission of The Salvation Army.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred.
Ability to be flexible and able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and As well as the ability to access payroll, timekeeping and personal data via a web-based system.
Administrative skills to include utilization of standard office equipment, data entry, 10- key.
Good attention to details and filing.
Good communication skills both written and spoken, and ability to maintain effective working relationships.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters.
Must pass all applicable background checks.
Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.
A commitment to actively participate in a Professional Development Plan.
Basic First Aid and CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
