The Summer Youth Leader is responsible for providing an educational experience that prepares refugee students, aged 4 to 19, for school in the United States. This involves creating and implementing lesson plans based on prepared syllabi to equip students with necessary knowledge and skills for success in an American school setting. Additionally, Youth Leaders lead engaging activities to foster a fun, encouraging, and safe environment, and are responsible for maintaining classroom cleanliness and organization. Assistants support Youth Leaders in teaching, programming, and classroom maintenance, providing individual or group support to students, all contributing to a positive and enriching educational experience.
