About The Position

CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Management Intern to join our wealth advisory team to provide client and prospective client wealth management solutions. This includes support of our centralized financial planning model, onboarding new and existing clients onto our wealth planning platform and continually developing strategies and solutions to better serve our clients.CAPTRUST interns must maintain professional and ethical standards, be well organized, service oriented, and capable of performing under tight deadlines. Obtaining course credit may also be possible, depending on the student’s program approval. Hours will be flexible based on school schedule. Requirements

  • Actively pursuing Undergraduate/Graduate degree; rising Junior or Senior
  • Relevant Coursework and Major including Accounting, Finance, Economics, Financial Planning or Taxation.
  • Significant interest in learning the business and activities involved with financial planning, estate planning, tax mitigation and wealth management

Responsibilities

  • Support business development activities with prospective clients and existing clients
  • Learn eMoney/Wealthview planning software assist in preparing for client meetings
  • Assist with client/prospective client meeting preparation, notes and follow-ups
  • Learn CAPTRUST CRM systems; help with customer management and data clean up
  • Contribute to seminar promotion and lab session prospect meeting
  • Learn and develop financial planning knowledge and skills
  • Work closely with financial advisors and other peers on Wealth Team
